The complete dummies and idiot’s guide to stock market investing
Most people find stock market investing daunting. For them its very complicated, hard to understand and very risky. As a result most people stay away from it.
What they fail to understand is the fact that stocks are merely a fractional ownership of businesses. If you own a stock you own a business. Investing in the stock market is merely going into business.
One of the goals of the D’ Intelligent Investor is to help people understand the basics of stock market investing and that they might be able to know how to invest intelligently. We have laid a lot of foundation already about the basics of finance and stock market investing and we will be discussing soon the aspects of how to intelligently invest in the stock market.
But before we go there, let me point to you another great resource I found on youtube on stock market investing. Although the video is entitled “How the stock market works,” I’ve decided to call it “The complete dummies and idiot’s guide to learning stock market investing.”
It’s not that I consider the people who don’t understand the stock market as dummies and idiots. I call it that because this 9 minute youtube presentation using cartoons on the basics of stock market investing is so simple, colorful and even funny that even idiots and dummies can understand it. (Hoping and praying that youtube will not remove the video) I don’t know what else to do if you still cant understand the basics of stock market investing after watching the video.
I wrote in the post entitled “Stock market investing is so easy that even kids can learn it by watching the Secret Millionaire’s club” that Warren Buffett and The Cookie Jar Company are coming up with a cartoon series on teaching kids the rudiments of finance and stock market investing but sadly until now I haven’t heard that they are producing more shows after the first one. I really hope they will continue with this project. (I believe cartoons such as these shouldn’t just be for kids but should be for adults too. After all we are just grown up kids)
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this youtube video posted below. If you still can’t get it the first time, try reviewing it the second or third time until you will finally understand what investing in the stock market is all about.
The part I love most about the video is the last part wherein the narrator said that yesterday’s savings finances the miraculous growth of several industries that we enjoy today. (Making us live more comfortably today) Indeed this is true. As I wrote in the post entitled “Ten good reasons why I love investing in the stock market,” investing in the stock market helps build the nation.
By the way, the youtube video was uploaded by an internet marketer on stock market investing. The fact that I featured the video here does not mean that I am endorsing his product. I make no statement whatsoever with regards to the product he is peddling as I have not tried it.
Enjoy the video and learn more about stock market investing.
